REMNANT 2 - STATUE OF KAEULA

This was a really fun one to figure out and design / paint. Based on a rough character concept from Aleksei called, Kaeula, my task was to create a statue of her. I wanted to create a pose and lighting that could really show off her features, the way it's planned with real statues. You need to come up with a pose that can create interesting shadows and play with light in a way that enhances its visual appearance. Figuring out a good way to go about the material, lighting and color of the gold mask in shadow, in contrast with the stone was a cool experience.
